Momos Chutney

Momos chutney is very  spicy  dipping sauce prepared with dried red chillies and garlic cloves.  This  extremely spicy chutney goes well with subtle flavored momos. It is bright red coloured chutney which enhances the taste and experience of momos servings.

 

 

Momos Chutney

Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Yields: 12 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cup water
  • 3 tomato, ripened
  • 4 dried red chilli
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt

Method

  1. Firstly, in a deep bottom pan, take 2 cup water and add 3 tomatos, 4 dried red chili.
  2. Boil for 5 minutes or till tomatoes start peeling its skin.
  3. Cool down the blanched tomatoes and chilli. Once it is cooled down, remove the skin of tomatoes.
  4. Transfer the peeled tomatoes and red chilli into blender.
  5. Also add 4 clove garlic, 1 inch ginger.
  6. Additionally add 1 tsp sugar and ¼ tsp salt
  7. Blend to smooth paste without adding water.
